When you choose to share a parking opportunity, we use your location at that time to display the approximate location of the available space to other users. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time through the app (via your profile page), byclicking here or by contacting [email protected]. To complete a deletion request, you must be logged in to your account. If you request that your account be deleted, Swapspace will immediately disable your account and delete your account data within 30 days of the request.
Upon deletion, Swapspace will delete all user data associated with your account, except for information that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or accounting purposes. This may include records of purchases, redemptions, completed transaction history, safety and abuse records, and legally required financial or accounting records. Any retained data will be minimized and de-identified or anonymized to the extent possible. Deleted data may persist in secure backups for a limited period but will not be restored or used except as required for legal or compliance purposes.
We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit and secure storage systems to secure your personal information, but no security system is 100% effective.
